Changes from the previously released version 3.00
Fixed issue on Mill, when two conrads meet at a tangent point, machine
would hesitate briefly.
Extracting the software onto your USB Thumbdrive
For Windows XP and Vista users:
1. Double Click on the emx_usa_301.zip
file that you've just downloaded.
2. Go up to the top left hand corner of your window, and click on FILE,
and then EXTRACT ALL.
3. An Extraction Wizard window will appear. Click on NEXT.
4. Underneath where it says "Files will be extracted to this directory:"
choose the target path for
your USB thumbdrive (for example if the
thumbdrive is recognized as drive E on your computer,
the path will be “E:\”). The files MUST be
extracted within the root directory of the thumbdrive,
and not within an existing folder.
5. Click on the NEXT button. This should start copying all the necessary
files to the target drive.
Once complete, click on the FINISH button.
For Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, and 2000 users:
You must have third party compression software installed on your
computer, such as WinZip (www.winzip.com).
Follow the appropriate instructions for extracting all files to your
desired target folder.
Installing onto your ProtoTRAK control
Once all files are copied, take the USB thumbdrive over to your
Prototrak EMX control and insert it into a free USB slot. From there, go
into the DRO section, SERV CODES, and press 316 and then the ABS SET
button. This will automatically update the software to the control, and
ask you to recycle the power once complete.
NOTE – THIS UPDATE IS FOR USA EMX CONTROLS ONLY. DO NOT USE THIS
UPDATE FOR ANY OTHER CONTROL TYPE.
