Summary

TRAK Machine Tools is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to come join our team! The Mechanical Assembler will work in an air-conditioned bench workstation atmosphere and assemble mechanical parts/assemblies perTRAK Machine Tools' specifications of quality and time standards.

We integrate our CNC controls with machine tools and sell the finished products as turnkey systems under the respected brand names of TRAK and ProtoTRAK. We sell directly to users in much of the United States, with distributor sales in other parts of North America and Europe.

Job Overview

Work in an air-conditioned bench workstation atmosphere. Assemble mechanical parts/assemblies per Southwestern Industries specifications of quality and time standards. Should have good time management skills, be well organized, and possess strong verbal communication skills. Have the ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds. Possess good dexterity in hands. Knowledge in basic hand tools, the ability to read and understand blueprints, and use of precision measurement equipment are a plus.

Requirements

Assemble parts and assemblies per specifications on blueprints.
Assemble parts per TRAK Machine Tools' time standards.
Maintain TRAK Machine Tools' quality standards of assemblies.
Notify work cell leader of parts shortages and other potential problems.
Work with the supervisor to implement ways to improve processes.
