Summary

TRAK Machine Tools is looking for a Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving Worker to come join our team.  This position's responsibilities include shipping, receiving, stocking, inventory control, and cycle counting. Some maintenance and janitorial work may also be required.

The main office is in Rancho Dominguez, CA just south of Los Angeles off the 91 and 710 freeways. We have customers all over North America and a wholly owned subsidiary in the UK.

Job Overview

We are looking for a warehouse worker. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, stocking, inventory control, and cycle counting. We offer competitive wages, opportunity, and benefits.

Duties

  • Ship outgoing materials
  • Receive incoming materials.
  • Pull orders and pack materials for stocking and shipping
  • Kitting – the process of pulling parts to fulfill demand driven from Job Orders.
  • Identify and stock materials to correct locations
  • Perform inventory transactions correctly and quickly
  • Place RTS items in the correct inventory location and ensure accuracy with data input
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness
  • Expedite parts when needed
  • Ability to move to other areas if needed and multi-task

Language Skills

Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with others. Be able to read safety instructions and procedures in English

Computational Skills

Have the ability perform basic mathematical problems like add, subtract, multiply and divide. Understand percentages and rates. Ability to use a computer, and perform basic functions
