About the video:
TRAKing Pat dives into the Adaptive Machining feature on the ProtoTRAK RMX CNC. He first programs a pocket using a standard tool path, then he programs the same piece part with an Adaptive Tool Path. Next, he machines the two variations side-by-side to give you a better idea of the cutting time saved by using this feature. Not only does Adaptive Machining save time with the actual machining, it also preserves your tools, end mills, and parts by keeping them cooler throughout the whole process.

Adaptive Machining also allows you to use less horsepower required in order to do much more cutting. Other benefits include the ability to engage all or most of the cutter and having a full chip load all the time which will give you a better finish/cut.
