Software Downloads

ProtoTRAK Offline Software EMX/ELX
Current versions in this release: Software Version 3.01
   

 
Note:  Downloaded software must be extracted
before it is installed in the ProtoTRAK.
Please review all of the following instructions.   

Download Instructions
(For Windows 95 or above.)

1.  Right click on the Download Now Button. 
2.  In the selection window, select Save.
3.  Choose a location to save the file. You may want to create a directory called "ProtoTRAK  
     Downloads" or save the file to your Desktop. 
4.  After the download completes, you will have the software saved on your hard drive. 
     Close the download window if it is still open. 
5.  The software you have just downloaded is compressed to make it easy to download. See the  
     instructions below "Extracting and installing the software on your ProtoTRAK"  to finish the 
     process.

Extracting and installing the EMX/ELX Offline software on your Computer
This section describes the easiest way to install the software you have downloaded on your computer. If this doesn't suit your needs, please call the Service Department (800-367-3165) for instructions.  exol_301.exe is a self-extracting file for use with Windows 95 or above.

1. Use Windows Explorer and go to the software you have downloaded on your hard drive.
     or locate the icon saved on your Desktop.
2. Double click the file exol_301.exe
3. You should get a window pop up asking for a destination folder. Default is C:\EX_Offline
4. If you are updating an older version of offline, be sure to check the box that says “overwrite
    files without prompting”.
5. Click on UNZIP.
6. After the files are copied, you can click on CLOSE to exit the application.
7. To run the ProtoTRAK Offline software, use Windows Explorer to navigate to the C:\EX_Offline
     directory and double click on the PT6OL_UserInterface.exe file.
