SWI aka TRAK Machine Tools is a privately owned manufacturer in the field of metalworking machinery. We make specialized computers, known as CNCs that control machine motion. The main office is in Rancho Dominguez, CA just south of Los Angeles off the 91 and 710 freeways. Summary

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing company. The successful candidate must possess a high degree of knowledge in general accounting and be hands-on, flexible, and willing to cross-train in all functions of accounting and act as backup for other accounting personnel

Duties

Oversee accounts receivable and payable
Assist in managing invoicing & RMA credit process
Banking and cash management activities
Monitor in-house equipment leasing program
Assist with internal, state, sales/use tax audits
401k plan reporting
FSA monitoring
Back up payroll
Manage communications with field personnel related to employee benefits
Support month-end and year-end close pricess
Department P&L reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (accounting preferred)
Proven experience as a staff accountant, minimum 3 years
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, Salesforce is a plus
Experienced using ERP software, Syteline is a plus
Live within a reasonable commute to the home office
