We believe that our prosperity and way of life depends on the vitality of our businesses. Further, we believe that the business of manufacturing is fundamental to our well-being as a society and that we have a duty to continue on as best we can.
We will comply with all local laws in force at all times. But we believe that there is no wisdom in going beyond those measures and thereby restrict our opportunities and those of our customers. We will continue to offer Open Houses and private demos in our local showrooms.
We believe that this crisis has been with us long enough for people to be aware of how to keep themselves and others safe. We have been in these communities all our working lives, and we believe that the people in manufacturing should be regarded as reasonable adults whose freedoms and judgments are sound and should be respected. People are free to forego any activity they find unacceptably risky. They should also be free to engage in lawful activities that they find necessary to further their interests.
We believe that the spread of Coronavirus is understood well enough that we may take precautions that lower the odds of transmission to the point of being negligible.
In our Showrooms at all times, including Open Houses, we will take precautions to prevent the transmission of Coronavirus:
- Bar admittance to any person who exhibits symptoms of respiratory illness, including fever and cough.
- Limit the number of people in the Showroom to the maximum prescribed by the Social Distancing dictates of the local government in force on that date.
- Enforce social distancing measures.
- Extend Open House hours or dates in order to accommodate the number of people who want to attend while maintaining social distancing.
- Supply face masks to all persons in the Showroom. Use will be elective depending on the proscriptions of the local governments in force at that time and the comfort of the visitor.
- Have available ample supplies of soap and hot water for hand washing as well as hand sanitizer.
- Frequently disinfect all surfaces with cleaner approved by the CDC.
- Cater the event using reputable food providers.
- Provide eating areas that are disinfected and keep people distanced.
- Forego handshaking and other forms of human contact.
- TRAK Machine Tools personnel and visitors to the showroom will read and sign the Visitor Health Pledge form.
We warmly invite all our prospective customers to attend our open house or a private demo in one of our showrooms. If you feel it is wiser to wait longer, we look forward to serving you at that time.
