The auto lubrication for the ways and ballscrews is wired to operate while the spindle is running. Discharge times and intervals are set in the SMX CNC.
The Auxiliary functions provide program control of spray mist or coolant, spindle off, and interface to a programmable rotary table or indexer. Standard on model FHM7.

The optional coolant pump is mounted on the back of the machine column. It is wired into the electrical panel for operation as an auxiliary function or through the Accessory key on the CNC front panel. For ProtoTRAK SMX CNC two-axis models, a manual switch is provided.

Knee power feed for TRAK Knee mills.
Switches and brackets to set for maximum travel limits. Tripping the switch will cause the servo motors to shut down. Note, limit switches are not especially recommended. The system software monitors voltage intensity and will shut down the servos if it detects excessive force.
One comes with every LPM, you would buy this only if you want an additional cart.
The Networking Option lets you connect your ProtoTRAK to a network of other ProtoTRAKs or offline computers. See the specifications under the ProtoTRAK SMX CNC for a detailed listing of features.
A Torque-Rite brand power draw bar factory installed on your machine. May be ordered as CAT or NMTB/NST. The draw bar for the CAT type is longer to fit into tool holders that have the tool changer grip, or retention knob, removed. Highly recommended. If you don't buy this from us, be sure to get either a power draw bar or some other quick change tooling.

Table guard with sliding doors to impede chips and coolant and keep the operator from the tool and workpiece during CNC machining. Interlock switch on the door interfaces to the CNC. DRO and TRAKing are allowed with the door open, but the door must be closed for automatic CNC operations in the Program Run Mode.

The USB Thumb Drive option is a Delkin Devices 512MB thumb drive. It serves the following purposes:
The thumb drive comes correctly configured for ProtoTRAK EMX/EXL interface and includes a copy to the PTEX Offline Programming software for making part programs on a PC.
Model 688 6” Kurt vise and mounting hardware. Opens to 8.8”.
Includes mag base and 1", 2" and 3" extensions.
The optional work lamp is a 110 volt, 15 watt fluorescent light. The 18" light tube is mounted to the top of the splash shield just to the right of the spindle. The light is protected by a watertight polycarbonate tube that is sealed by an o-ring. A steel shield prevents damage from large flying objects and stainless steel armoring protects the electrical cable.
Available for current TRAK SX Lathes and as a retrofit for prior TRAK and Sport models 1440P and 1745P.
